Located just off Haddonfield Road, Nan Xiang serves up classic Shanghai staples like Xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), signature pork and truffle soup dumplings, and handmade dumplings filled with shrimp, pork, and vegetables. For a fuller meal, pairing these with the Nan Xiang fried rice or seafood pan-fried noodles rounds out a satisfying order. Drinks like the grapefruit and peach green tea with nata jelly add a refreshing, slightly sweet finish that complements the savory flavors well.

Traveling and ended up in New Jersey on a day off. amazing meal, unexpected in this city! Highly recommend I got the Pork and vegetable Wonton soup, Shanghai Siu Mai, and the Lucky 6 soup dumplings. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious! What a great experience for my first soup dumplings. Will be back next time I’m in the area!!

The food, interior, and service were wonderful! I came here for my birthday (10-03-2025) with my best friend. Every staff member that assisted us was respectful and kind. The location was very clean, and stylishly decorated. Our orders were taken quickly, and our food came out fast too! Not to mention, everything was hot and fresh. Our server, Mark, also went out of his way to make sure I knew how to properly eat the soup dumplings I ordered. He was very kind and courteous. I very much enjoyed my experience here, and recommend it to anyone that wants to enjoy genuine Chinese cuisine.

Attended the dumpling making class tonight and had a fantastic time! The store manager (didn’t catch her name) provided a hands-on workshop showcasing several different dumpling preparations. This class also included how to make soup dumplings -the highlight of the class! You get your money’s worth with what felt like endless filling and wrappers continuously being put in front of you. Highly recommend this unique experience!

If you're ever in the Cherry Hill area in NJ, you must stop here and try out their soup dumplings. I can see why this place is Michelin recommended. We got their lucky 6 soup dumplings, crab dumplings and Shanghai stir fried udon noodles. The dumplings were so packed with flavor. The udon noodles were made from scratch and delicious. Everything was perfect, absolutely no complaints. The place was extremely clean and modern.

Really good meal! For starters we had the tofu and potherb salad, smashed cucumbers, and tofu and celery. Highly recommend the tofu and celery!! For dumplings, we had the spicy beef, scallop, and the new vegetarian soup dumplings. The two meat dumplings were great, the vegetarian one was good but it’s filled with more potherb so if you order an app with that be aware. We also ordered the osmanthus honey chicken and recommend that as well.

came here on a whim bc i was shopping nearby and my fiancé and i were blown away by everything. our new fave lol. From seating, decor, lighting, everything about the atmosphere was warm, cozy and elegant. Server was attentive. Restaurant was clean. Items were priced fairly in my opinion and the food tasted fresh. The meatballs, beef noodles and the soup dumplings were amazing!! Everything else was good.

Honest review: When they say they’re Michelin, they really prove that title, and I’m not exaggerating. Let’s start with the braised beef soup noodles. The beef was 100% soft and tender, literally melting in my mouth. I barely had to chew. The soup itself was savory and well-balanced, without that strong star anise taste (which I personally don’t like, so this was a huge plus). I only ordered one bowl, but the portion was so generous that I was able to share it with my husband. Honestly, one bowl is enough for two people. Second, the chili pepper chicken is the best I’ve ever had in Delaware, crispy, flavorful, and perfectly spicy. So addicting. Lastly, the soup dumplings are a must-order. Juicy, delicate, and full of flavor, definitely a go-to. Overall, everything lived up to the hype. Quality, portions, and flavor were all on point. If you don’t have a reservation, you’ll likely wait around 20–25 minutes, depending on how busy it is. The food took about 25 minutes to come out, also depending on the day, but it was absolutely worth the wait. Definitely will be coming back.
